About the Book

This book is a comprehensive atlas of the normal human anatomy as viewed through common imaging modalities. The text is organised by regions. With clearly labelled images, the book will help in achieving a clear understanding and interpretation of diagnostic radiologic images, the rationale being that pathological images can be interpreted only after knowing the normal anatomy. The atlas will not only be an ideal book for undergraduate and postgraduate students of medical and dental fields by aiding them to grasp sectional anatomy, the physicians too would find it extremely useful as a reference in their clinical practice.

About the Author

PK Sharma is presently a Professor in Department of Anatomy, King George’s Medical University (KGMU) Lucknow. He has about 34 years of teaching experience in the subject. He has been instrumental in establishing a unique, state of the art ultrasound unit, CT scan gallery and MRI gallery in Department of Anatomy, KGMU.
