CAD/CAM software and hardware components are covered adequately. It includes: detailed coverage of mathematical theory of analytical, synthetic curves and surfaces; numerous examples on Geometric transformation and projection transformations; and variety of manual and computer aided CNC programming for turning and machining centers. It covers fundamentals of FEM and includes FEM formulations for 1D, 2D elements including thermal effect.
