Management in New Age Western Windows Eastern Doors : Sharma, Subhash

“Management in New Age: Western Windows Eastern Doors” by Dr. Subhash Sharma bridges Western and Eastern management philosophies to foster holistic globalization. Drawing on methodologies such as position-opposition-proposition and ‘sabdh yoga,’ the book presents innovative frameworks that harmonize societal, organizational, and individual perspectives. It introduces concepts like Holistic Development and Management (HDM), Human Quality Development (HQD), and Total Quality Of Mind (TQOM), emphasizing a shift from “survival of the fittest” to “arrival of the best to lead the rest.” The book’s interlinkages between management thought, social discourse, and spiritual concerns aim to create a Sacro-civic society where utilitarian, ecotarian, and ethicotarian philosophies coexist harmoniously. With his extensive background in management education and institution building, Dr. Sharma offers valuable insights for managers navigating the complexities of globalized business environments. This book is essential for understanding new-age management that integrates diverse global perspectives.
