About the Author

Vandana Mehta, MBBS, MS (Anatomy), is presently working as Director-Professor and Head, Department of Anatomy, Vardhman Mahavir Medical College (VMMC) and Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi. She completed her undergraduation and postgraduation from Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi, and has been associated with VMMC and Safdarjung Hospital since its inception in 2001. Dr Mehta has authored chapters in several books and has over 115 international publications to her credit. She has presented her research work in various national conferences and has delivered several guest lectures. She is also an editorial board member of several international journals and is Associate Editor of National Journal of Clinical Anatomy.
